Beagles in the news

So a beagle won the Westminister Dog Show. Is that a good thing? We had a beagle for a while who was fairly content destroying our house on a daily basis and probably would have kept doing so if he hadn't chewed through the plumbing in our upstairs bathroom, causing nearly $3,000 in water damage in the kitchen below. Within 12 hours, Charlie was living the good life at a friend's house in a far-flung Chicago suburb with a huge yard and a couple of kids who used to melt over our dog whenever they came over. My friend hasn't spoken to me since. Apparently, though, some people like beagles. Hopefully your readers fall into that category. Check out this month's pet package, which includes an MCT graphic on the newest king of the canines. Sorry, nothing about cleaning up water-soaked plaster, though.
